Burn it to the Ground
So that only the embers remain.
You stare, eyes stinging at the rims of your lower lids, as you watch the flickering of your past life and dreams struggle to remain relevant. Their last efforts to remind you of a time you wanted what was expected of you. But you won’t so much as blink to ensure that they are ash. Absorbed into the Earth. Indistinguishable from the soil and mud beneath your feet.
It’s where they belong, beneath your feet, honored in your grounding. It led you here, yet is unable to transcend. What formed you for a time, releases back with matter to reveal the wild flames of your heart. You don’t see with your same eyes these infinite, roaring fires from these sacred chambers but they are tended with vibrations of love.
The second you point the knowing eye to your center, it explodes. Sparks leap and flood your frame with this impenetrable love. A devotion to unlimited possibility. A desire to create from these unknown sources, these playful muses who direct you and filter divine truths through you for the sake of reminding others of their true nature.
This fire never wanes because it is not contained by your body alone. It spreads, and it rages beyond our control and limited understanding. Burns faster and hotter and brighter to fog our minds with smoke. Now blind to our physicality we sense the powerful heat that fuels creation.
May we all burn to the ground the crops of our ancestors that only grew as high as our mind allowed; For our fruits and our fuel field an inner knowing, a call for connection that transcends time, that dissolves boundaries sketched by matter.
May the wind of our spirits spread this fire faster, bolder, and brighter, until we’ve healed the Earth with our ashes; Here to nourish its wounds, to give back what was always meant to be left here for her.
And may we together turn toward the sun and remember we are it. Just as bright and fiery. We are one. We thought we were just a planet, but in fact, together, we are a star, one that helps shine light in the expansive darkness of our galaxy. An entire universe lit by every sacred heart.
