Semantics

There is a difference between slow and ease.

Two of my least favorite words conjoined are “slow down.” It thrusts an anchor down while I’m forging 12 knots ahead, jerking me toward a spin to the left and backward. I love living like an f5 tornado, swirling, moving, changing.

It’s action, it’s fire. It’s what feels like purpose and progress, when our experience in this human form, in this era on this planet, is directed in a timeframe that is fleeting. To slow down would be a waste.

How can you liberate, create connection, build families if you’re a tortoise? But I do not misunderstand you. I just believe the phrasing is all wrong. You mean invite ease, and with that, develop patience to witness awe. For action done with max effort, all energy and resources, flames out. Ease means delegation to others, lends for space so that wisdom infuses decisions. Ease re energizes and allows for a bigger, broader picture. Patience arises from that wisdom that you offer your efforts to the universe, that you are limited in your control because you don’t have the instructions to the broader picture. Your efforts aren’t for nothing, but having patience means you trust that your offerings will yield something new, something for you or us to deepen this human experience.

You are not slowing down and withdrawing your participation in life and co creation with the universe, instead you are listening, cultivating ease, developing patience.

Listening is, in fact, not passive at all. They are the highest levels with which to embody action. Only then can you react in a way that propels your consciousness forward, honoring the divine plan and your free will. Keep speed, but pay attention, you will accomplish bigger and grander things if you work with the Divine and don’t push back against your narrow plans. So much is in store you.
